Škoda has published its last year’s sales results, and 2025 was a year of major success for the brand. In Europe, it ranked as the 3rd best-selling brand. This was driven largely by the Octavia— a long-time favorite of both companies and families— and the Elroq, which became one of Europe’s best-selling electric vehicles and the clear number one in the EV segment in Slovakia.

Sales results of individual car brands guide us mainly in deciding which models we need to develop custom interior protection solutions for. With Škoda, this is doubly true. As one of the most popular brands in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, it’s a priority for us to cover its models as quickly, as broadly, and as precisely as possible— including differences across trim levels and seat configurations.

MAD SR’s beginnings date back to 1991, when the first “car T-shirts” for seat protection were created. One of the very first vehicles these solutions were used for was, naturally, a Škoda—specifically the Favorit.
Škoda has been with us since the very beginning. Later, it became even more present—not only as a brand we covered, but as a partner that helped drive development forward.

Over time, our relationship with Škoda deepened to the point where we became an official development partner—covering everything from materials and mounting methods to the safety of our products. Thanks to this cooperation, we were able to fine-tune all the requirements that custom solutions must meet to work reliably and long-term.
The materials we use in our products have been—and still are—officially certified. That’s also why we can offer high-quality, original materials that match the standards used in OEM vehicle production. This has given us not only technological confidence, but also trust we can build on.
At the same time, with new models we had the opportunity to access them early, have them in time at our technology department, and prepare patterns so we could be among the first to deliver solutions for every new release. Today, our portfolio includes all Škoda models across all trim levels, and every single pattern is refined down to the details that create the final result. One could say our solutions are “Simply Clever.”
Škoda achieved its strong sales results mainly thanks to the Octavia and the Elroq. From experience, we know the Octavia has long been a popular choice for companies building fleets that need reliable, presentable, and practical vehicles. Families also often choose the Octavia—especially the Combi version—where space, comfort, and versatility make the difference.
That’s exactly why this model holds a stable place among the most sought-after vehicles in Europe. It’s a proven sure bet that works in both professional and personal life.
On the other hand, the Elroq is a new impulse that brought a fresh shift for the brand. It showed that electrification can be practical, understandable, and usable in everyday reality. Combining Škoda’s long-standing name, quality, and durability with modern technologies helped break down many prejudices about electric vehicles—so the Elroq naturally found its way into Slovak garages as well.
And this is where we come in. Our solutions take the comfort, quality, and durability of these vehicles to a higher level—especially in the interior. As we’ve mentioned, we cover all Octavia models across all trim levels, and we’re working just as intensively to ensure customers have high-quality custom solutions for the newest Elroq as well.
